UW-ELAST is currently investigating the possibility of producing its own solar cell in direct connection to the factory in Mariestad. The work is in a concept stage and no decisions have been made yet.
An imaginary facility would be a ground-based solar park of a maximum of 255 kW. In a normal year, as much as 200,000 kWh could be produced.
